Well it's not really surprising, considering I have been going out quite a lot. And of course, due to this Asian parent rage etc.
Recently, I just started going to a new tutoring center for Maths and Chemistry, as those two were my crappiest report card results. It's called Breakthrough and it's tutored by a guy called Kevin. His teaching method is way better than some of tuition centers I have gone to, and I've been to a lot due to my parents forcing tutoring classes upon me.
I'm a pretty dumb guy, but I can understand his teachings immediately and the most important thing is, he explains it in a way that I can remember.
Unfortunately, he's already halfway into Unit 4, and that's a bit of a downside. Means I have to catch up again, but it's okay. I really think I've found motivation for me to study again, and I've found the reason of why I want to do well.
Let's break this down into two parts; the subject of why I want to do well.
The first part; stress.
The shame of repeating grade 12 due to not getting good marks...to be honest even though my brain considers it as a good alternative, my heart says it will be a bad decision. Undergoing the same stress, oh gg.
The second part; wanting to get out.
I don't know if I'm ready to face the 'real world' yet, but I've seen the amount of freedom university students get, and I really want that.
Anyway, these holidays have been going by pretty fast. Quick recap of what has happened, and what is going to happen.
26th June: After Exam party! Was a fun night out, ate a lot of good food, most notable was durian.
29th June: Went to Chadstone with Jacky and Brendan Luu, watched Toy Story 3 and ate Lord of the Fries..fries. Fries with gravy and shredded cheese= best chips ever. Afterwards, 2hr tuition.
30th June: Indoor soccer! I was really bad, and everyone else was good so obviously I failed a lot. But I scored two goals at least!
1st July: Played a chess "tournament" with school friends. Came 2nd overall, wasn't a bad day, until at night. Got raged at by parents etc.
2nd July: Was supposed to go Ken's birthday bbq, but I couldn't due to parent raging. Stayed home and did work.
3rd July: Went to an 18th, and it was good. Slept over at a friends. Argentina vs Germany match was disappointing...poor Messi.
4th July: 1hr and a half Maths tuition with Kevin.
5th July : 4hrs Chem tuition
6th July: 2hrs Maths tuition, met with Ivan, Josh and Jay. Saw an old...friend? Went Jon Lee's party, and that was really good. Tons of awkward moments for poor Jon. Slept over at Keeans.
7th July: Woke up at 11.30, and ate lunch at Boxhill. Went Go-karting at Dandenong and damn it's so fun.
Upcoming:
8th July: Cell outing with fungus
9th July: Dinner
10th July: Catch up on work day for me
11th July: Church, then Sunday school and then catch up on work.
So basically, these 4 days are work days for me gg.
